Kix Country announced our first place wins on air!!
This is some of the things they said.

The Arcadia Whip Crackers get cracking at 1st place!

The Arcadia Whip Crackers, a mounted drill team consisting of 7-8 local riders went to their 2nd state qualifying ride  Saturday, 13 May 2003 in Myakka Fla. The girls who’s ages range from 11 to 35 were excited to compete but knew they were in for some tough competition as they saddled up for the day.

The team has been a member of The Sunshine State Mounted Drill Team Association for the last year. They have been in heated competition before but the honor of 1st place has eluded them until now! They rode in two divisions on Saturday, in youth and in an open division. The team placed 1st in both divisions!   “When we heard our name called as first place winners we were all overwhelmed with emotion and excitement!

We are always looking for new riders said Marquis but you have to be committed, This drill team has really made these girls better horsewomen, they ride better and they are training their horses Things they never dreamed of. It teaches them the values of partnership with their horses and their teammates!

The Team had the honor of Performing at the Arcadia Rodeo this past year.
They have preformed their Routine at several charity events in the area,
and at the recent Kix Country Music festival in Pt. Charlotte.
